Brian has always been drawn to performance, creating characters and experimenting with accents from the time he was small enough to fit inside a costume trunk. He has appeared in a wide range of theater productions—primarily musical comedy, with a few well-placed dramas to keep him honest—and his work as a French teacher has essentially been a long-running one-man show. For more than a quarter of a century, he taught through storytelling, improvising his way through six lively “performances” a day. His love of language and culture led him to earn an MA in French Literature and spend 15 months living and studying in France, experiences that sharpened his instincts as a performer. Alongside his teaching and stage work, Brian has built a growing résumé in commercial acting, appearing in spots for Zoom, the Ohio Department of Health, British Airways, Bicycle Playing Cards, Ohio Proud, Homage Clothing, and regional financial institutions. His look is versatile and he can transform from Santa-adjacent to surprisingly 007-esque. With a strong foundation in character work, cultural fluency, and on-camera ease, he is now pursuing acting with renewed dedication—and a healthy sense of adventure.
